Wellington  Play Area

Wellington Play Area opened in August 2025 with an official opening celebration in September 2025.  The Play Area has been designed with 2-16 year olds in mind.

Thank you to everyone who has started to use it. Parents, carers: take your children, grandchildren, nephews and nieces to enjoy it. Encourage them to appreciate this amazing facility. Children: to all the rockers, sliders, rotators, climbers, danglers, and see-sawers – it is hoped you love the Play Area, tell your friends and of course please use it safely and respectfully.

There is a group of Play Area volunteers who will complete a weekly basic inspection of the Play Area, check if the bin bags need changing and pick up any odd bits of litter.  The initial cohort of volunteers have been recruited, but if this is something you are interested in getting involved in, do please still get in touch: Gill Bullock 07377 728822 or gillbullock@hotmail.co.uk.
